Teaser Tuesday-May 22

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my Teaser Tuesday:
Lover Reborn (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #10)
He's fed from her only once, and she was not his-and never would be, for too many reasons to count.
Throe, on the other hand, might have a chance-except, of course, he was not a Brother.

  2. I really need to catch up on this series. I think I am at least two books behind. My teasers are from The Girl in the Clockwork Collar by Kady Cross and The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts. Happy reading!

    1. J.R. Ward really knows how to bring her readers right into the story. You begin to care for the characters.

  5. "Fed from her" -- that sounds so cold! But then I guess vampires aren't expected to be warm and fuzzy, are they?
My teaser is from Each Angel Burns.

    1. When they feed from each other, it's actually quite sensual. That's what I like about this series. There's not violence against the women.
